Margaret "Peggy" Louise McKita, 78, passed away January 29, 2022. She was born October 14, 1943 to the late James and Norma Lamb. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Carleton McKita.

Peggy is survived by her sons Michael Kanai (Laura), Gus Kanai (Angie), JC McKita; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother James A. Lamb III; several nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at 4 p.m. at Englewood United Methodist Church on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. A visitation will follow the service at the home of her son Gus Kanai, 213 Clifton Rd Rocky Mount.
