Edgar (Jim) Alvis Pollard, 78, passed away January 23, 2022. He was born in Nash County February 27, 1943 to the late Alvis Chester Pollard and Edna Best Pollard.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by brothers Carl Pollard, Jerry Pollard and a sister, Gloria Royals.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary Patocki (Matthew); two grandchildren; sisters Judy Rowland and Penny McMurray.
