RED OAK- Andy "A.J." Jones, age 72, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Born in Nash County on June 11, 1949, he was the son of the late George Ernest Jones and Mary Elizabeth Britton Jones. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Donna Lynn Glover.
Andy is survived by his brother, Danny Craig Jones and wife, Bonnie, of Raleigh; his brother-in-law, Carlton Glover; two nieces; one nephew.
A service was held January 30, 2022. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Andy's memory to Dortches Baptist Church, 4776 Dortches Blvd., Rocky Mount, NC 27804. |
