NASHVILLE - Helen Parrish Wages, age 79, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022. She was born on October 3, 1942 to Ralph and Virginia Daniel Parrish in Halifax County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Iola Sanderford and brother, William "Bud" Parrish.
She is survived by her children, Denise Jennings (Dan) of Rocky Mount, Deborah Balmer of Rocky Mount, Bonnie Kruk (Don) of Roanoke Rapids, Linda Dickens of Roanoke Rapids, David Hinkle of Virginia, and Max Hinkle of Roanoke Rapids; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended relatives.
A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
