Al Stanley Batchelor

MYRTLE BEACH- Al Stanley Batchelor, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. Born in Nash County on November 13, 1930, he was the son of the late John Batchelor and Myrtie Pearl Batchelor. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Lolita Batchelor; his daughter, Karen Lynn Batchelor; his son, Al Timothy Batchelor; his sister, Roseanna Murphy; and his brothers, Pete Batchelor and Marshall Batchelor.

He is survived by his son, Alan Batchelor, of Rocky Mount; his daughters, Donna Stubbs (Tom), of Merritt Island, FL, and Sherry Hanson, of Wilmington; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his brother, Wilbur Batchelor, of Red Oak; his sisters, Carolyn Turner, of Youngsville, and Linda Baum (Jake), of Zebulon; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Forest Hill Cemetery.
