Florine Edith Vaughan Joyner, 87, passed away December 2, 2021. She was born March 20, 1934 in Nash County to the late William Clay and Bettie Cooper Vaughan. In addition to her parents Florine was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Joyner, Jr. and brothers, Ralph Vaughan and Norman Vaughan.

She is survived by sons George Randall Joyner, William E. Joyner,III (Phyllis); three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sister, Helene V. Armstrong.

A funeral service was held December 6, 2021 at Macedonia Baptist Church. Burial, Land Family Cemetery, Spring Hope.
