FRANKLINTON - Lawrence “Hoss” Johnson, 65, died Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, October 27 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church of Kittrell with the Rev. Dennis Brown officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Surviving: spouse, Clara Johnson; a daughter, Katina Johnson Adams (Darrin) of Raleigh; 4 sons, Frank Spivey (Shirley) of Henderson, Samuel Johnson and Lawrence Johnson Jr., both of Franklinton, and Derrick Johnson (Jeneise) of Kittrell; a sister, Gertrude Taylor of Franklinton; 2 brothers, James Johnson Jr. (Sandra) and Thomas Johnson, both of Franklinton; and 16 grandchildren.
Wake services were held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Sunday, October 26 from 4 - 5 p.m.
