ELM CITY - Pattie "Pat" Joyner Langley, age 85, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021. Born in Nash County on December 16, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Levy Louis Joyner and Gladys Watson Joyner. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Linwood Joyner and Adron Joyner.
Pat is survived by her sisters, Jean Bass and her husband, Leonard of Elm City and Barbara Joyner Cobb of Rocky Mount; her brothers, Bobby Joyner, Lee Joyner and his wife, Barbara and Wayne Joyner and his wife, Debbie all of Elm City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Burial will follow the service at Mill Branch Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1 - 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
