Nancy Burgess, 73, of Apopka, Florida passed away on September, 19, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Willis C. Burgess Sr. and Emma Price Wood. Born in Edgecombe County on October 17, 1947.

Nancy is survived by her brothers, Willis C. Burgess Jr. (Kay) of Louisburg, Jimmy W. Burgess of Rocky Mount; and her nieces and nephews.

She is preceded by her sister, Patricia M. Grooms.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 1-3:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
