ROCKY MOUNT - Barbara Alice Rackley, age 64, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021. Born in New Hanover County on February 18, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Irvin Eldridge Rackley and Dorothy Mae Thomas Rackley.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Terri Elizabeth Daughtridge (Jason) of Rocky Mount and Tammy Ruth Lindsey Collins (Jon) of Durham; three grandchildren; her brothers, Philip Thomas Rackley (Donna) and Harold Lee Rackley (Debra); and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. prior to the service.
