CLEVELAND "EARL" JOYNER

Cleveland "Earl" Joyner, 87, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021. He was born November 10, 1933 in Wayne County to the late John and Vara Sutton Joyner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a beloved son Scott Joyner, and granddaughter Brittany Ann Joyner; seven brothers Elbert, J.O., Leverne, Billy, and Tom Joyner, Ebbie and Jackie Creel; a sister Pashia Sutton.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years Margaret Joyner; son Larry Joyner (Cindy); daughter-in law Elizabeth Joyner; sister Johnnie Ann Hughes; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Visitation with family and friends will be Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 1 - 1:45 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
