CLEMON HAYWOOD PENDLETON

ROCKY MOUNT - Clemon Haywood Pendleton passed away September 25, 2021.

Born in Franklin County on May 21, 1926, he was the son of the late Robert Fletcher Pendleton and Mattie Lou Tant Pendleton. In addition to being preceded in death by his wife, Dollie mae Pendleton and parents, Clemon was also preceded in death by his siblings, Jack Pendleton, Elizabeth Pendleton, Jason Pendleton, and Lola Mizell.

Clemon is survived by his sons, Steve Pendleton (Wanda) of Rocky Mount and Ronnie Pendleton (Carolyn) of Wilmington; his daughter, Dianne Guy (Stephen) of Nashville; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his brother Alton Pendleton; his sister-in-law Barbara Cooper.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside.

Flowers are welcome but memorial contributions can be made in Clemon's memory to Fountain of Life COGOP, P.O. Box 4109, Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
