ENFIELD - Percy Edward "Ed" Gupton, Jr., age 73, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021. Born in Nash County he was the son of the late Percy Edward Gupton and Faye Natalie Dozier Gupton. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Anthony Gupton.

Ed is survived by his wife of 53 years Donna Rives Gupton; his daughter, Sherri Bryant (Joseph) of Enfield; his son, Jeremy Edward Gupton of Raleigh; one grandson; his sisters, Linda Gupton Short (Billy) of Red Oak and Pamela Gupton Wester of Rocky Mount.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 10 a.m. Elmwood Cemetery. A visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside.
