ROCKY MOUNT - Daphine Riley Bowles, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Born in Nash County to the late Willard Buist Riley and Effie Ruth Joyner Riley. Daphine was also preceded in death by her sister, Willa Ruth Riley Cain; and her brother, Willard Dennis Riley.

Daphine is survived by her husband of 47 years, Joe Bowles; her daughter, Julie Bone Lee (David); her son, Joey Bowles (Darla); five grandchildren; her sisters, Annette Patterson and Joan Mosley.

A private family graveside service will be held at Rocky Mount Memorial Park at a later date.
