ROCKY MOUNT - Garland May Mosley, age 86, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021. Born in Nash County on June 3, 1935, he was the son of the late Carl Bailey Mosley and Ora Alberta Langley Mosley. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Sara "Mop" Ragland Mosley; his father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ragland; his sister-in-law, Jane Hurley Mosley; and his brother-in-law, Bennett Lindsey.

Garland is survived by his son, Timothy Mosley (Robin); three grandchildren ; one great-grandchild; his brother, Jerry W. Mosley (Lana); his sister, Carolyn M. Lindsey (Wayne).

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. A visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside.
