Raleigh - Funeral services for Hershal L. McCurn, age 74 who died on Sunday, July 18, 2021, were held on Monday, July 26, 2021 from the Bethany Community Church in Wake Forest. Burial followed in the Town of Wake Forest Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Linda McCurn of the home; two sons, Hershal L. McCurn, Jr. (Angela) of Houston, TX and George Gaines (Gwen) of Rocky Mt.; two sisters, Estella Jenkins (Marvin) and Kathy McCurn both of De Moines, IA; two brothers, Truman McCurn (Myrna) and William McCurn (Dorothy) both of De Moines, IA; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
