NASHVILLE - Lucy Mae Arrington Bobbitt, 77, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2008.
Funeral services were held on Friday, October 3 at 2 p.m. at Light of Peace Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Lonnie Braswell officiating. Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery.
Survivors: husband, Herbert Bobbitt, Sr., of the home; daughters, Lorraine Somerville and Linda Arrington, both of Nashville; step-daughters, Shirley Staton of Rocky Mount, Betty Jean Chamber of Las Vegas, NV, Alice Battle of Newport News, VA, Evangeline Leonard of Albany, NY, Mozelle Ricks of Rocky Mount and Brenda Bobbitt of Washington DC; son, Herbert Bobbitt Jr. of Nashville; sister, Claretha Lynch of Spring Hope, 27 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville on Thur, Oct. 2 from 3-8 p.m.
