TARBORO - Florine Reams Davis, age 91, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021. Born in Nash County on February 1, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius Manning and Ophelia Manning Fuller. She was also preceded in death by her son Dale Maurice Reams; her sisters, Etta Mae Morgan, Trudy Glover and Jean Pipkin; and her brothers, Robert Manning, Earl Manning and Johnny Manning.

Florine is survived by her daughter, Teresa LaDine Reams Mooring and husband, Jeff, of Ephrata, PA; her son, Joseph Allen Reams and wife, Kay, of Tarboro; her grandchildren, Michelle Reams Mercer and husband, Todd, of Rocky Mount, Joseph Allen Reams Jr. and wife, Betsy, of Raleigh, Christina Reams Vandemark of Wilson, Jeffrey Ryan Mooring and wife, Courtney, of Wilson, Brett Pridgen "Ridge" Mooring of Macon, Mitchell Alexander Mooring of Garner, Dale Reams, Jr. of NC, Angela Cynkar of WA and Tanya Kucharczyk of VA; her great-grandchildren, Lance Holmes and wife, Bethany, of Raleigh, Kaitlin Tally and husband Trey, of Raleigh, Christian Scheuer of Wilson, Alex and Zoe Reams of Raleigh and Ava Mooring of Wilson; her sisters, Lucille Medlin of Roanoke Rapids and Shirley Finch of Bunn; her brother, Willis Manning of Tarboro; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. Elm City Missionary Baptist Church,. Burial will follow the service at Forest Hills Cemetery in Nashville. A visitation will be from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. prior to the service at the Church.
