Rocky Mount - Rudolph Franklin Whitley, 75, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2008 peacefully at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents Nat Clifton Whitley and Mattie Stallings Whitley; four brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by one daughter, Angela Whitley Paris and husband Richard; one son, Alan Whitley and wife Lenora; four grandchildren; one sister, Bessie Gentile of Delaware.
The family received friends from 7 to 8:30 pm Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Parkwood Baptist Church and other times at the home, 837 West Haven Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27803. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be sent to Parkwood Baptist Church, 1731 Hunter Hill Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
