SPRING HOPE - Prophet R.C. Murphy, 68, of Spring Hope, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 27 at 11 a.m. from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the St. Hope Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Evon Lynch-Murphy of the home; three daughters, Prophetess LaShawnda W. Brown (Apostle Thomas) of Atlanta, GA, LaShawnda R. Lynch-Perry (Antonio) and Tamika Shequise Shevon Murphy, both of Spring Hope, NC; three sons, James Hayes of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Taiwan Murphy of Atlanta, GA, Robert Charles Murphy, Jr. of Bailey, NC; one sister, Linda Murphy-Adams (Howard) of San Antonia, TX; four brothers, Horace Murphy, Jr. (Jean) of Clarksville, TN, Billy Ray Murphy of Georgian, AL, Titus Jerome Murphy (Thelma) of San Diego, CA, Melvin Murphy (Carmela) of Panama City, FL; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 5 until 6 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
