HOLLISTER - Cleveland Johnson, 72, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2008. Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Pine Chapel Church with the Rev. Robert G. Hedgepeth officiating. Burial followed at Pine Chapel Church Cemetery.
Survivors include 4 daughters, Marilyn Fields of Raleigh, Linda Mills of Hollister, Charlean Johnson Wilkins of Rocky Mount and Pamela Johnson of the home; a son, Rex Johnson of Hollister; 3 sisters, Earlean Garner, Pattie Rue Richardson, and Bettie Boone all of Hollister; 2 brothers, Whitfield Rudd of Washington, DC and Clarence Johnson of Hollister; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Open visitation was held at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville on Wednesday, September 17, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m.
