MAGGIE LEE BAKER
NASHVILLE - Maggie Lee Baker, 73, passed away Friday, September 19, 2008. She was born in Nash County on September 20, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Joseph William and Bertha Bone Pittman. She was preceded in death by two brothers.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Remus Baker, six sons, Randy Baker and wife Michelle, William Baker, of Nashville, Timothy Baker and wife Linda of Spring Hope, Terry Baker, Sterling Baker and wife Tammy, Gary Baker and wife Robin , all of Nashville; one daughter, Wendy Baker Martinez and husband Rene’, two brothers, Linberg Pittman and wife Sarah, Joe Pittman and wife Daisy of Rocky Mount, four sisters, Kathline Baker, Deliah Bulluck and husband James, Betty Jean Blackford and husband Tom, of Rocky Mount, Crystal Hare and husband Wayne of Zebulon; fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Saturday, September 20, 2008 from 7:00-8:30PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home and other times at the home, family has requested no food. Mausoleum Service was Sunday, September 21, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with the Rev. Wayne House and Rev. Michael Johnson officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home and Cremations, 1052 South First Street, Nashville, NC 27856.
