Betty "Joyce" King Ray, 82, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021. She was born January 19, 1938 to the late George and Henrietta King. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Ray, and son Calvin Douglas Ray.

She is survived by her son Troy O. Ray; sisters Emily Strickland (Dink) and Linda Leimone; one grandson.

A graveside service will be held Monday, January 18, 2021 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park at 11 a.m.
