Samuel Gardner Shearin, 74, passed away January 13, 2021. He was born November 7, 1946 in Nash County to the late Walter E. Shearin and Katie Hamlet Shearin. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Allison Outlaw Shearin; brothers, Floyd Shearin, Walter Gorham ''Buddy" Shearin, Roger Felton 'Peanut" Shearin and Larry Shearin; sisters in law Susie Shearin and Sandra Shearin.
He is survived by his sons, Samuel Shearin Jr. (Marie), Steven Shearin, Stanley Shearin, Scott Shearin; brother Troy Shearin (Ann); sisters Sue Crickmore, Charlotte Keen (Richard), Debbie Arnold (Phil); several grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sisters- in-law Frances E. Shearin and Frances B. Shearin.
