NASHVILLE - Dr Bill Hancock, of Nashville NC, died on September 2nd, 2008. He was born on January 18th, 1932 in Belton, “Anderson County” South Carolina to the late James Ansel and Nellie Eufaula Ingram Hancock. He was preceded in death by his daughter Patricia Anne Hancock, two of his sisters: Catherine Cotton and Nancy Hancock, four brothers: John Hancock, Wilton Hancock, Jack Hancock, and David Hancock.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Anne Philomena O’Donoghue Hancock, three sons: John Ansel Hancock and wife Mary of Charlottesville, VA, Stephen Edward Hancock and wife Paige of Summerville, SC, Robert James Hancock and wife Amy of Nashville, his sister Neta Smith of Calhoun GA, and his sister-in-law Pat Beaugerde of Guernsey, The Channel Islands, England; four grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family received friends at Johnson Funerals and Cremations, 661 English Road, 10 AM until 12 PM Friday, September 5th.
