Henry Morris Evans, 78, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020. He was born May 18, 1942 in Warren County to the late Henry and Penniah Harris Evans. In addition to his parents Henry was preceded in death by brothers Wallace (Ollie) and Lonzie Evans; sisters Beatrice Richardson (Herman), Alease Silver (Randolph), and Dorothy Purnell (Charles).

He is survived by his wife Emily R. Evans of 43 years; son Chad Evans (Crystal); daughter Tiffany Evans (Nelson Mejia); brothers Ullyses, Claude and Roger Evans (Quetta); sisters Ora Jeffries, Annette Hedgepeth and Delores Lynch (Jacob); five grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation with family and friends will be Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 2:30-3:45 p.m. with funeral service to be held at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Willie Silver, Rev. C.H. Richardson and Rev. Daryl Hedgepeth officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family has stated there will be no repass due to Covid Restrictions and has requested that everyone please wear mask ,and practice social distance.
