FLOYD BURNETTE

Floyd Roosevelt Burnette, 83, passed away September 19, 2020.

Floyd was born in Franklin County to the late James and Mary Ann Burnette. He was also preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Brinley Satterwhite, his stepfather, Sam Tharrington, his sisters, Irene Tharrington, Pearl Vick, Emma Patterson, Blanche Rouse and Hazel Jones, by his infant twin brothers and his half brothers, William, John and Ed Burnette.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Lyons (C.J.), three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews.

Visitation is at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 22 and funeral services follow at 1 p.m. in the Chapel at Cornerstone Funeral Home, conducted by his Pastor Rev. Stanley Gaskins, and former Pastors Rev. Mark Bateman and Rev. Bruce Brumfield. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
