Drive-thru Relay for Life is Sunday!

Nash County Relay for Life is hosting a drive-thru Relay experience at Nash Central High School, Sunday, September 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Luminaries will line the driveway and goodie bags will be presented to survivors.

Luminaries that have already been purchased this Relay season will be on display in addition to any sold prior to the event. If you would like to purchase a luminary, you can do so by visiting our website at www.relayforlife.org/nashnc.

A press release from organizers states, "This is a perfect opportunity to recognize our loved ones who have battled this vicious disease, sponsors who have donated money to the cause, and teams that have worked so hard this year."

The event will take place as a parade in addition to following social distancing guidelines. Organizers are asking participants to decorate their cars with signs and are asking survivors to display a sign stating your name and how long you have been a survivor.

Organizers thanked their sponsors, "We would also like to extend a special thank you to our 2020 Host Sponsor, Braswell Family Farms, our Presenting Sponsor, JR's Maintenance and our Gold sponsor, Kinexo. Without the support of all of our business sponsors, our Relay Teams and participants, Nash County Relay for Life would not be the huge success that it is year after year, and We could not do it without each of you," the press release concluded.

For additional information call Sherry Harris at 252-366-2917 or Tonia Grimsley at tonia.grimsley@cancer.org.

Nash Central High School is located at 4279 Nash Central High Road, Rocky Mount.
