William Eugene Watson, 76, passed September 13, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret Watson; brother, Sherwood Hinson; and wife, Janice Cone Watson.

He is survived by his siblings, Jeannette Overton (Bill) of Rocky Mount, Edwin Watson (Martha) of Whitakers, and Brenda Batchelor (Duane) of Wilmington; numerous cousins and extended family.

Services were held Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Elm City.
