WILLIAM "BUD" MERL TURNER

William "Bud" Merl Turner, 75, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020. He was born August 16, 1945 in Nash County to the late Luther and Victoria Wells Turner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Linda Turner; sons William "Poppy" Carol Turner and wife Crystal, Paul "Randy" Randolph Turner and wife Shannon; daughters Hazel Mansfield and husband Billy, Jody Adams and husband Mike; Brother Willie Turner (Jean); sisters Jeanette Johnson and Alice Williams (George); five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with family and friends will be Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home of Nashville. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Elm Wood Cemetery of Enfield with Rev. Alvin Davis officiating.
