SALEM - Natalie Dozier Gupton, age 92, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2020. Born in Nash County on December 19, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Edward Dozier and Mamie Price Dozier. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Percy Edward Gupton; her son, Michael Anthony Gupton; her great-grandson, Skylar Gauge Davis; five sisters; and two brothers.

She is survived by her children, Percy Edward "Ed" Gupton, Jr. and wife, Donna, of Enfield, Linda Gupton Short and husband, Billy, of Red Oak, and Pamela Gupton Wester of Rocky Mount; her sister, Judy R. Crawley; her brother, Kelly Dozier; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Dozier Family Cemetery, Whitakers, with Rev. Allen Williams officiating.
