ROCKY MOUNT - Funeral services for Overseer Nezer "Preacher" Yarborough, age 86, who died on Friday, August 21, 2020, will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 12 p.m. from the Golden Gate Temple in Rocky Mount with Bishop Harry Wilson, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Yarborough of Warwick, MD; four daughters, Bonnie Young of Nashville, Saundra Trevathan, Donna Johnson (Darrell), and Angie Barnes, all of Rocky Mount; three sons, Nebuchadnezzar Yarborough III of Richmond, VA, Sandy Ray Yarborough (Pam) and Telly LaFranque (Chlorinda), both of Rocky Mount; one sister, Victoria Yarborough of Norfolk, VA; one brother, John "Boo Boo" Yarborough (Florine) of Virginia Beach, VA; 28 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. |
