SHARPSBURG - Geraldine Ferrell Wilson, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020. Born in Nash County on July 5, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Ferrell and Retha Wells Ferrell. She was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas Robert Wilson, II; brother, William Michael Ferrell; and sisters, Lou Ferrell, Judith Batchelor, and Della Archer.
She is survived by her son, Greg Wilson and wife, Kelly, of Rocky Mount; and daughter, Christina Lantman and husband, Allan, of Sharpsburg; sisters, Maxine McCall and Janet Wilson; brother Patrick "Pat" Ferrell; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Peoples Chapel Cemetery in Elm City with Rev. Carlton Cockrell officiating.
