ROCKY MOUNT - Louise Collie Williams, age 88, passed away Friday, May 29, 2020. Born in Nash County on April 27, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Eddie Wilson Collie, Sr. and Mary Lula Collie. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dossie Edmund Williams; brothers, Paul W. Collie, William Ed Collie, Joseph "Dick" Collie, Roy Earl Collie, Cecil B. Collie, Tommy Truman Collie; sister, Annie Bell Pollard; brothers-in-law, Buddy Williams, Floyd Williams; and sister-in-law, Frances Langley.

Louise is survived by her sons, Royce Williams (Wanda) of Rocky Mount, Bobby Williams (Jackie) of Rocky Mount, and James Williams (Angela) of Sims; and daughter Brenda Yates (Tony) of Rocky Mount; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Eddie W. Collie, Jr., John W. Collie; sisters, Betsy Byrd (Bobby) and Helen Land; sisters-in-law, Ginger Collie and Dorothy Collie; numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were held Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Walt Cooper and Rev. Billy Webb officiating.
