WILLIAM OTIS GRIFFIN

NASHVILLE - William Otis Griffin, age 97, passed away on May 29th, 2020. Born in Nash County on August 11th, 1922, he was the son of William Archibald Griffin and Mary Capps Griffin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Adele Parker Griffin; his son, William Don Griffin; sister, Lois Griffin Hedgepeth; and brother, George Centell Griffin.

Otis is survived by loving cousin, Sue Murray and husband, Kensey; nephews, Pat Griffin and wife, Melinda, and George Griffin; niece, Brenda Burns, as well as great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by two step-children and their families.

A graveside service was held at Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery on Monday, June 1, 2020.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Red Oak Baptist Church Memorial Fund, PO Box 260, Red Oak, NC 27868.
