GRAFTON I. COCKRELL

Grafton I. Cockrell, 76, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2020. He was born in Nash County on May 3, 1944 to the late Grafton Thomas and Emily Ann Collins Cockrell. He was also preceded in death by his son Jeffery Paul Cockrell.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Evelyn Cockrell; daughter Michelle Graybeal (David) of Wilson; two grandchildren; three stepchildren Lisa Crumpler (John) of Nashville, Jimmie Harvey (Amy) of Rocky Mount, and Mike Harvey (Friend Angie) of Rocky Mount.

Entombment service will be Thursday, May 7, 2020, 2:00 PM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park in the The Chapel of Memories with visitation to follow.
