DURHAM - Ronald Wayne Viverette, age 78, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020. Born in Nash County on October 15, 1941, he was the son of the late Joseph Viverette, Jr. and Vivian Rebecca Whitley Viverette. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Viverette; and nephew, Robbie Johnson.

He is survived by his son, William "Will" Joseph Viverette and wife, Debbie, of Wilson; daughters, Cynthia "Cindy" Dawn Viverette of Rocky Mount, Sherri Viverette Debolt and husband, Ricky, of Stem; and step-daughter, Dana Wilson and husband, Jeff, of Charlotte; two grandchildren,; sister, Jo Anne Johnson of Charlotte; and a niece.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Pineview Cemetery with Rev. Carlton Cockrell officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, March 30, 2020 from 5 - 7:30 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
