CHARLES M. “COUNTRY BOY” COOK
Bailey - Charles M. “Country Boy” Cook, 82, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2008. He was the son of the late James and Myra Hollaway Cook. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Cook, his granddaughter, Bridgett Marie Kelly.

He is survived by his wife, Luna, his daughter and son-in-law, Mona and Doug Kelly, his son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Lynn Cook, grandchildren, Brett and Holly Cook, and his brother, Rev. Jimmy Cook and wife Dorothy, in-laws, Ruth Cook, C.L. and Carol Meadows, many cherished nieces and nephews.

Visitation was Wednesday, August 13, 2008 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home of Nashville. Graveside service was Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 2:00PM, at the Town of Bailey Cemetery in Bailey, NC.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Friends of Hospice of Nash General Hospital, 2460 Curtis Ellis Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.

Arrangements are entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home and Cremations, 1052 South First Street, Nashville, NC 27856.
