GRACE LOUISE WELLS LYNCH
NASHVILLE – Grace Louise Lynch, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2008. She was born in Wilson County, NC, November 8, 1923, the daughter of the late Cleveland and Zula Lucas Wells.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Simon Lynch; her two sons, James (Shorty) and David Lee Lynch; sisters, Vada Lamm, Kathleen Davis, and Julie Woodard; and brother, Dalmas Wells.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Edith Lee, and Christine Godwin both of Nashville, and Debbie Pennington of Sharpsburg; daughter-in-law, Margaret Lynch of Sharpsburg; fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren; sisters, Ivena and husband Charles Hathaway of Raleigh, Betty and husband James Barnes of Smithfield, and Robena Speight of Walstonburg.

The family received friends on Wednesday, evening, August 13, 2008 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home. A worship service in her memory and to the Glory of God was held, Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Bossolono of Old Wilson Road Church of God and Rev. Tom Gearhart of Benvenue Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Williams’ Family Cemetery in Edgecombe County.
