DARCEY "HEYBO" THOMAS VICK

Darcey "Heybo" Thomas Vick, 93, passed away April 15, 2020. He was born December 21, 1926 in Nash County to the late Robert and Geraldine Vick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Bessie Rae Vick; daughter Vivian V. Farmer. He was the oldest of eleven children of the Sandy Cross Community.

He is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Philips (Stewart), Joyce Winstead (Ernest), and Vickie Bone (Billy); six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.

Following the CDC guidelines, a visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2020 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The service will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Rev. Jimmy Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be sent to Samaritans Purse.
