JAMES EDWARD “ED” WORRELL
SANDY CROSS - James Edwards Worrell, 81, passed away, August 12, 2008. He was born, June 26, 1927 in Nash County. He was the son of the late, Joseph Guy and Bertha Poland Worrell. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 57 years, Irla Carpenter Worrell, one daughter, Vickie Worrell Baker of Rocky Mount, two brothers, Horace Guy Worrell of Rocky Mount, Nathaniel “Tannie” Wesley Worrell and wife JoAnn of Nashville, one sister, Mertie Shearin of Richmond, Va., one grandson and one great-grandchild.

Funeral Services were Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 7:00PM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Woody Jones and Rev. Daniel Moss officiating. Visitation followed after the service. Burial was Friday, August 15, 2008 at 11:00AM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

Arrangements are entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home and Cremations, 1052 South First Street, Nashville, NC 27856.
