ROCKY MOUNT - Bobby Lewis Joyner, age 55, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2008. Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 31, 2008 from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel with the Bishop Wallace Baines officiating. Burial followed in the Baker Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Tony Moore, of Smithfield; a sister, Diane Vick, of Rocky Mount; four brothers, Nathaniel Joyner, of Newark, NJ, Rudolph Joyner, Robert Joyner, and Waddell Joyner, all of Rocky Mount; and one grandchild.
Open visitation was held at the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
