CASTALIA - Robert “Bob” Ray Keller, 79 died on Wednesday, July 30, 2008. He was born in Avery County April 21, 1929 to the late Dan and Sylena Anderson Keller.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura “Jane” Anderson Keller.
Survivors include his daughter, Debra K. Harts and husband, Alvin of the home; sons, Robin Keller and wife, Kathy of Nashville, Dan Keller of Toledo, Ohio; sisters, Nancy Thompson and husband, Dale, Mary Ellen Clark and husband, Charles all of Pineola, NC; brother, Carl Joseph Keller and wife Chris of Fairview, NC and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Friday, Aug. 1, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Hamrick officiating. The committal will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family received friends Thursday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
