Sunday 8/25 at Christian Fellowship Church, praise and worship was led by Freedom with the music of Elevation. The morning message was given by Pastor Daniel Parker - "The Revelation Timeline - The Millenial Reign & The New Jerusalem."
The Love Ladies of Kingdom International Church gave out 67 backpacks to Coopers & Williford Schools on 8/21. The bags were also full of supplies for the children in the classrooms. Thank you to each person who donated a backpack or supplies and thank you to Brenda Braswell, Traci Holloman & Swane Holloman for delivering these gifts to each school.
Dr. Sherlock Bally was guest speaker for five services at KIC this past week. His mission was to teach and preach what it means to be "Living in the Super-natural." Thank you to the Kitchen Crew who served light refreshments every night after Dr. Bally gave the message.
At the time of this writing, there are 3 months 7 days 13 hours 31 mins 09 seconds left until a group from KIC travels to Israel with Dr. Bally. Everyone is getting excited!
David Winstead and Gary Carpenter had a BBQ/Chicken plate sale on 8/23 at lunch. The turnout was great. Thanks to all who are supporting them in raising funds for their trip to Israel.
KIC Young At Heart had their monthly gathering on the night of 8/24. There were over 30 people in attendance. Guest speaker was Greg Lamm and special music was brought by Revs. Reuben & Marie Batchelor. There was a delicious buffet of BBQ chicken, vegetables, and desserts. Rev. Loraine Thorne has been in charge of Young At Heart for about 15 years and she is still doing a marvelous job.
On Sunday morning 8/25, youth pastor Steve Massey opened service with announcements and prayer. The Praise Team led worship with two selections. Pastor Daniel Moss gave the morning message - "What It Really Means To Take The Lord's Name In Vain." Victoria and Amanda Moss sang "You Say" to close the service.
Robert and Phyllis Henderson, parents of Amanda Moss, were in attendance at KIC on Sunday morning.
Sunday afternoon 8/25, Grupo Elohim gave special praise & worship in the service at Dios Es Amor. There was a large gathering in support of the church and its pastor Rev. Julio Diaz.
After the service, there was a large buffet supper of Mexican specialties. Each of these dishes were specially prepared by hand for the guests and included ribs, minced pork, shredded chicken, seasoned rice, fresh salsa, olives, pickles, bread - and soooo much more.
Soldiers of the Son had their 5th Annual "God Belongs In My City - Prayer Ride" on 8/24. It was a great success in spite of the rain.

Fallon Curtis celebrated her 12th birthday at Vaughan's Chapel on 8/25. Fallon is the daughter of Dana Curtis; the granddaughter of Beverly Denton; and the great-granddaughter of Melvin Langley.
