TONY WHITAKER
SPRING HOPE – Tony Whitaker, age 43, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2008. He was born in Washington, DC to Glennie Linda Whitaker and the late Freddie L. Whitaker.

Survivors include his mother, Glennie L. Whitaker of the home; grandmother, Lucy Curtis of the home; five aunts, Annie Mae Cooper of Spring Hope, Annie Mae Whitaker of Rocky Mount, Lillie Mae Battle of Newark, NJ, Louise Jeffries of Richmond, VA, Bernice Hubbard of Richmond VA; two uncles, Thomas Curtis of Richmond, VA, Grady Curtis of Youngsville; a host of other friends and relatives.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Spring Hope with the Rev. James Pugh, pastor officiating.

Services entrusted to William Toney’s Funeral Home Inc., Spring Hope.
