Frances Louise King Denton

ROCKY MOUNT - Frances Louise King Denton, age 85, passed away on January 2, 2019. Born in Franklin County on April 5, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Preston King and Belle Elizabeth Dennis King. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dick Isham Denton; stepmother, Mary Helen Griffin Radford; brother, James King; sister, Carey Jones.

She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Jones, Barbara Stallings and her husband, Ricky; sisters, Mary Rocha, Mamie Faulkner and Laura Tyson; brothers, Thomas Bryant and Preston King, Jr; four grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Englewood Baptist Church, Rocky Mount, with Rev. Michael Cloer officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 2 - 2:45 p.m. prior to the service in the church.
