Edward Thadious Bass Jr., 70, passed away September 30, 2018. He was born in Nash County on July 12, 1948 to the late Edward and Betty Bass. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his step-father John Bailey and a step-brother Johnny Bailey Jr.

He is survived by his brothers William Lawrence Bass and David Eugene Bass; step-sister-in-law Debra Bailey; several nephews and a niece as well as several great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Youth Program at Nashville United Methodist Church P.O. Box 86 Nashville, NC 27856.
