William Lamar Thigpen, 79, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018. He was born March 2, 1939 to the late William and Elwood Smith Thigpen.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Melody Pittman and a son, Marty Thigpen.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Murray; six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Arrangements will be announced at a later date by Cornerstone Funeral Home, Nashville.
