Eleanor "Joyce" Elks Williams, age 74, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018. Born in Wayne County, NC on June 27, 1944, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas Elks and Ellen Smith Elks. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Robert Earl Williams; and her infant brother.

She is survived by her son, Robert "Robbie" Earl Williams, Jr., and wife, Jessica, of Knightdale; and daughters, Stacie Weeks and her fiancé, Jeff Truax, of Rocky Mount and Tammy Womack and husband, Rusty, of Benson; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister, Doris Jones of Pikeville; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Chapel on the Hill Mausoleum.
