Rebecca Batchelor Britt, age 84, of Battleboro, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018. Born in Nash County on November 9, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Van Buren Batchelor, Sr. and Lucy Matthews Batchelor. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harris Randil Britt, brother, Van Buren Batchelor, Jr.; and sister, Vanette Coggin.

She is survived by her son, Randall "Keith" Britt (Kim Sutton) of Battleboro; and daughter, Vickie Britt Lamm (Cecil) of Nashville; three grandchildren;sister, Margie Brantley of Spring Hope; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Monday, July 23, 2018 in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Alan Williams officiating. There will be a private family burial at a later date at Forest Hill Cemetery.
